Real past exam questions · Examiner-style marking · Official syllabus
AAF — Section B, Question 3
"Explain the auditor’s responsibility under ISA 240 in relation to the risk of material misstatement due to fraud."
Examiner score
14/20
Missed: risk-assessment procedures for management override of controls (ISA 240.31–33) — 3 marks.
PEA4 — Audit Execution: Internal Control
"Describe the auditor’s procedures under ISA 315 for identifying and assessing the risks of material misstatement through understanding the entity’s internal control."
Examiner score
12/20
Missed: distinguishing controls relevant to the audit from those that are not, and testing design vs. implementation — 4 marks.
Study the way the exam is actually marked
Most prep tools quiz you on multiple choice and call it revision. Professional papers like ICAN Skills and ANAN PEA are won and lost on written scenario answers — so that's what CertPrep is built around.
Real past exam questions
Practise with genuine questions from recent ICAN and ANAN diets — each one clearly labelled with the diet it came from — alongside fresh practice items covering every topic in the syllabus.
Examiner-style marking
Written answers are marked against rubrics modelled on real marking schemes. You see “Score: 14/20” with specific feedback on the marks you missed — not a vague right-or-wrong.
Grounded in the official syllabus
The AI tutor answers from the official syllabus content for the exact topic you're studying — and tells you when a question falls outside it, citing the syllabus reference.
Now covering AAF — Audit, Assurance and Forensics at the ICAN Skills level and PEA4 — Auditing and Assurance Services at the ANAN Professional Examination A level, with more papers on the way.

Is CertPrep affiliated with ICAN or ANAN?
No. CertPrep is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) or the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). We prepare you for their examinations; we don't speak for either body.
Which papers are covered?
We cover AAF (Audit, Assurance and Forensics) at the ICAN Skills level, and PEA4 (Auditing and Assurance Services) at the ANAN Professional Examination A level — with more papers from both bodies on the way. Each is built around that body's own official syllabus.
Do you guarantee I'll pass?
No — and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we offer is the mechanism serious candidates use: real past questions, honest examiner-style marking, and targeted drilling of your weak areas.
What does it cost?
During early access, it's free. At launch, pricing is per diet cycle (not a monthly subscription) — indicatively ₦15,000–₦25,000 per paper, a fraction of the ₦150,000–₦250,000 typical for offline tuition.
