Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CertPrep (“the Service”) is operated by CloudKlass Academy (“we”, “us”), a Nigerian education company. CertPrep is an independent study platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) or any other professional body whose examinations it helps you prepare for.

2. What the Service is — and is not

CertPrep provides AI-assisted examination preparation: practice questions, AI marking of written answers, syllabus-grounded tutoring, and progress tracking. It is a study aid, not a tuition provider, professional adviser, or certifying body. CertPrep issues no certificates and awards no qualifications.

AI-generated marking and tutoring are designed to be rigorous but can contain errors. They are study feedback, not an official assessment, and we make no guarantee that you will pass any examination.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account, keep your credentials confidential, and not share your account. One account is for one person. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

4. Access

The launch early-access period ended on 1 August 2026 and the Service is now provided on a paid basis. Browsing the syllabus and keeping your saved progress remain free; study notes, practice questions and the AI tutor require an unlocked paper for the relevant diet. Features may still change, and in rare cases study data may need to be reset — we will give notice where practical.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service’s content or question bank;
• use automated tools to extract content or overload the Service;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or disrupt the platform; or
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The platform, its original practice items, explanations, model answers, and software are our intellectual property. Past examination questions remain the property of their respective owners and are presented for educational practice with our own original explanations. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation.

7. Payments and refunds

Papers are sold per diet cycle. Prices are displayed VAT-inclusive at checkout, payment is collected through Flutterwave, and refunds are handled per the Refund Policy.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including examination outcomes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms as the Service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time.

10. Governing law and contact
